TICKETS

Do I need the Underground Card from Himmel Unter Berlin to visit "The Dark Rooms"?

No – "Himmel Unter Berlin" is an independent exhibition series that we will continue in 2026. For admission to "The Dark Rooms Veins," you only need a valid, personalized ticket and an ID. Please do keep your Underground Card, however. "Himmel Unter Berlin Vol.3" is in planning and is expected to take place in autumn this year.

I couldn't get a ticket – how can I get one? ​​

We are looking for volunteers to donate 4 hours of their time. Become part of the team and then receive a ticket for an evening of your choice. To do so, please contact us at helfer@wirimraum.de

How long is the ticket valid? ​​

Your ticket is valid for the day indicated on your booked ticket. Please note the time of your booked entry slot!

Can I cancel my ticket?

Unfortunately, for organizational reasons, we cannot process cancellations or rebookings – we appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions, please contact service@loveyourartist.de.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Unfortunately, due to organizational reasons, we cannot process transfers. Your ticket is personalized to you – we ask for your understanding.

Can I rebook my ticket for another day?

As tickets are issued by an automated system, they cannot be exchanged or cancelled for technical reasons – we ask for your understanding.

How much does a ticket cost?​

A ticket costs 32 Euros and includes admission to the exhibition and a welcome drink.

What happens if not enough tickets are sold and the exhibition has to be cancelled?

You will be refunded the ticket price of 32 Euros + booking fee. This means your ticket purchase is risk-free.

Do I have to print the ticket or is a digital version sufficient?

We ask all visitors to conserve our environment's resources and refrain from printing tickets. Having your ticket as a mobile version is perfectly sufficient.

All tickets for a specific date are sold out, how can I still get a ticket?

If an evening is no longer available through the ticketing system, we have reached the maximum capacity for that day. However, our media partners regularly raffle off tickets. Our tip: We are looking for volunteers to help supervise the exhibition. Anyone who helps us receives 1 free ticket for a day of their choice. You can find more information under the menu item "Helper / Join Us".

VISIT

Do I have to be there on time?

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time indicated on your ticket to avoid queues and ensure timely entry for all visitors.

How long does the tour through the exhibition take?

The estimated visit duration is approximately 90 minutes.

Is there a dress code?

We ask all visitors to wear black clothing  to avoid unnecessary distraction from the artworks. Wearing black will make you invisible :)

Can I bring my children?

Since this is an event with an 18+ bar, bringing babies, children, and minors is not permitted according to youth protection laws. This also applies to teenagers. "The Dark Rooms" is aimed at adults.

Can I bring animals?

Please leave your dogs, cats, guinea pigs, goldfish, and other animals at home. According to official regulations, the event premises and the catering area are off-limits to animals.

Is photography allowed?

Photography is permitted in the exhibition, but without flash. If you mention and link the artists by name, you'll make them very happy. Photos of the exterior and in the bar are prohibited. If this prohibition is disregarded, we reserve the right to remove the person from the premises.

DIRECTIONS

Where can I find the address?

The location is top secret. Every ticket holder will receive the address 48 hours in advance, but for planning purposes: It is very centrally located in Berlin and easily accessible by public transport from all directions.

Is there parking available?

There are very limited, paid parking options on the surrounding streets. However, due to excellent public transport connections and to protect our environment, we ask all drivers to switch to public transport. If you plan to look for parking, please allow extra time to arrive at the entrance punctually.

ACCESSIBILITY

Is "The Dark Rooms Veins" accessible?

The building has many stairs and unfortunately no working elevator. Please make sure to contact us in advance at contact@thedarkrooms.de so we can inform you about what is possible and what is not. Thank you.
